I have to admit, fall and winter are my least favorite seasons. I’m a summer girl through and through. However, now experiencing all of these new things with our little one has made it so much more welcome. I’m sharing 4 fun things to do this fall with your little one!

One | Visit a pumpkin patch
What is cuter than babies posing with pumpkins?? We’re going this weekend and I can’t wait to pose Will next to a pile of pumpkins. We probably won’t cave any this year but I can’t wait to get some for our doorstep.
Two | Go apple picking
Another picturesque fall setting. Make sure to bring your camera and ask someone to snap a family photo! I love getting fresh apples to make apple sauce or an apple pie.
Three | Schedule a fall mini-session
I always forget to get Christmas card photos taken until it’s too late. The fall is a great time to schedule a mini session or full family session with a local photographer. We have ours scheduled for early November, but I’m debating adding another mini session. Mini sessions are great because they are usually a half hour or less (perfect for babies short attention span!) and are in a tried and true location for the photographer. We’ve done a handful of mini sessions throughout the years and we always love it!
Four | Visit a brewery or winery
In Northern Virginia there are soooooo many breweries and wineries. There’s nothing better on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon than to go with friends to a brewery or winery. Most are super baby friendly – you can bring your stroller or carrier and have outdoor and indoor seating.
