From time to time I do a series of stories on my blog with my day in the life. To memorialize my day in the life I summarize it on my blog and save it in my instagram highlights here!

Fast Facts:
This day in the life is from October 2, 2019. Will is 15 weeks old. He is strictly formula fed (from birth) and he has been sleeping through the night since he was 8 weeks old [want to know how?! Check out this post here!]
Will’s day is from 7 AM – 7:30 PM. He eats 6-7 oz of formula every 3 hours 5 times a day (at 7, 10, 1, 4 and 7). He takes 90 minute naps and 90 minute wake windows. He takes any nap that we’re at home for in the crib (unswaddled).
Daily Schedule:

5:50 AM: My alarm goes off! I wake up early every day to get showered and ready for the day before Will gets up.
6:32 AM: I’m downstairs after getting showered and setting up for the day. I do a few things every morning to kickstart the day and make sure we’re ready for the day:
- I make sure our Baby Brezza has formula and make sure it’s clean for the day
- I empty the dishwasher (we run it every single night with the bottles from the previous day and any other dishes we used)
6:47 AM: Start the laundry for the morning
6:49 AM: Get Will’s bottle ready for the first feeding.
6:57 AM: Let’s go get the baby! Time to start the day!

7:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Will’s first wake window consisted of eating his first feeding. After he ate, we played on his Skip Hop Activity Mat, his new Fisher Price Keyboard Playmat and got in some tummy time. We try to do tummy time in the last 30 minutes of awake time.
8:26 AM: Put Will down for his first nap. He started rolling onto his side for naps. Seems to be where he’s most comfy!

8:27 AM: Time for more laundry!
8:54 AM: Caught up on some TV while Will napped!
9:46 AM: Will just woke up. His nap technically doesn’t end until closer to 10. But, as long as he’s been napping for 75 minutes, I usually give him a couple minutes to determine if he’s going to go back to sleep or not. If he doesn’t go back to sleep, I go get him. If he falls back asleep, I grab him. Today, he was ready to get up.
10:01 AM: Time to eat!
10:55 AM: We had an impromptu bath time! We forgot to wash his hair the night before and his hair gets really greasy so we went up to the bath to fill some more awake time. We played in the bath then got ready for our next nap.
11:30 AM: Nap time again!
12:27 PM: My mom came over and I had some lunch.
12:52 PM: His nap goes till 1 pm, but he was up at 12:52. As it was past the 75 minute mark, I went ahead and got him up.
1:00 PM: Time to eat!
2:06 PM: We played with my mom and even read some books this awake time.

2:32 PM: Back to sleep!
3:53 PM: His nap goes till 4, but he was up at 3:53. Same as last nap, I went and grabbed him.
4:00 PM: Time to eat!
4:30 PM: Headed off to the neighbors to play. [We missed our 5:30-6:30 catnap]
6:00 PM: Headed from neighbors to a neighborhood birthday party.
6:55 PM: Got home from the birthday party and started bedtime routine. We usually start the bedtime routine at 6:30, but we were later. It’s okay – we’ll catch up! Off to the bath. Just because we took a mid-day bath doesn’t mean we skip tonight. We never skip a bath!
7:15 PM: Last feeding
7:26 PM: In bed for the night.

And that’s a wrap! You can see the video highlights here of the day.
